I am always nipping outside and grabbing street food. It’s excellent value and delicious. I spent one week eating street food from venders across Bangkok. Each dish cost me between 35–60 Baht.

Monday

Pad - Thai
This was a vegetarian Pad Thai. The chicken was replaced with mushrooms.

Tuesday

Kuay - Teow - Reua (Boat Noodles with Beef)
I love boat noodles. I’m addicted to the broth.

Wednesday

Kao - Man - Gai (Thai Chicken Rice)
A simple dish, with boiled or crispy chicken. Cater to your palette and add sweet chilli or sweet dark soy sauce.

Thursday

Guay - Jub (Rolled Rice Noodle Soup)
Have a spring in your step. Refreshing to eat after walking around Bangkok.

Friday

Jok - Moo (Pork Congee)
This is feel good food. It took me a while to get use to the texture. I prefer to start the day with this dish. It contains everything the body needs.

Saturday

Bamee - Kiew - Moo - Daeng (Egg Noodles With Shrimp Wonton & Grilled Red Pork)
If you need a Saturday kick, add in some chilli.

Sunday

Kao - Moo - Dang - Moo - Krob (Barbecue and crispy pork with rice)
I need to eat this more often. Can be messy and sticky.

One evening after work I decided to visit the supermarket and treat myself to some food. This encounter led onto many adventures.
